Confluence at Sun AND IBM [updated 21/09/07]

You see - Confluence *DOES* rock. Check out http://wikis.sun.com and take a look at the bottom right-hand side of the page. No shonky knock together wiki here :)

Also turns out that IBM use Confluence at Developerworks too - only it’s less obvious that it’s Atlassian’s product.  It looks the same and even tastes the same if you lick the screen, but it’s not until you view page source that you’d see it.

Back to Flock

Flock is currently at 0.9.0.2 for the Mac and weighs in at around 20Mb to download, so it’s not exactly hefty.  I’m sick of Firefox giving me grief at the moment, so I’ve decided to let it have a rest.

First test for Flock was checking to make sure that Websphere Portal performed as well as it ought to, and it has - no problems.  I’m going to put it through the wringer this week at work, and report how things go.

Minor plus - this post is being written direct from Flock without browsing to the blog.  Hardly earth shattering, but saves me typing all those extra characters…

Comedy Geospatial Appreciation

Would you really trust Forbes Traveller to tell you the best places to go on the planet? Is it any wonder so many hapless tourists end up on a cramped coach to ‘do England’ over a long weekend. This image was grabbed from Forbes own travel website this evening and there are at least 3 problems with it. Can you see what they are?
